We care about online security as much as you do, so we’ve taken steps to ensure your pay, benefit, and personal information is safe and secure.
We strictly follow all Safe Harbor guidelines in collecting and publishing survey data. All survey data collected is confidential and is used exclusively to generate collective market pay and benefit data.
Participating organizations who choose to remain anonymous are not listed on a published survey’s participant page. To opt out of being listed on the Regional Pay, Regional Executive Pay, Regional Non-Profit Pay, and Regional Benefits participant lists, click “Do not list my organization as a participant in this survey” on the Company Info page in each survey.
All online survey data is reported in aggregate form. Unique survey identifiers are kept confidential and are only used by authorized research staff to contact survey participants, if necessary.
To streamline survey participation, and/or to use data for future reports or trend analysis, we may transfer pay or benefit data between associate surveys, if applicable. Associate surveys include: Regional Pay, Regional Executive Pay, Regional Non-Profit Pay, Cascade's Non-Profit Pay and Benefits Survey, EAA National Sales Compensation Survey, EAA National Executive Compensation Survey, EAA National IT and Engineering Survey, and EAA National Wage Survey. To protect participants’ privacy, local survey data provided to EAA National surveys excludes company names and/or contact information.
Our surveys collect personal information as a means for us to contact you. This requires that you provide contact information such as your name, email address, mailing address, and telephone number. After reviewing your inputted survey data, we may contact you if we have questions, or to verify that the information is accurate. The information collected is never shared with other organizations for any purpose.
Our research department uses industry-standard encryption technologies when transferring and receiving member and non-member data exchanged with our survey database sites. We have appropriate security measures in place at our physical facility to protect against the loss, misuse, or alteration of information that we have collected from you on our sites as well.
When providing confidential pay, benefit, or personal employee data to individual users, our research team will transfer such documents through an encrypted website (e.g., Webshare).
We use both session ID cookies and persistent cookies. A session cookie expires when your browser is closed, and a persistent cookie may stay on your hard drive for an extended period. Session cookies make it easier for you to navigate our site; persistent cookies can perform such activities as storing your password for forums or blogs so you do not have to sign in every time you visit those areas, and/or may be used to enable us to track and target the interests of our users so as to enhance the overall experience of using our site.
We reserve the right to disclose your personally identifiable information as required by law and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order or legal process served on our website.
